Abolitionist Project

Calling for an End to Human Trafficking

50 Abolitionists from across the country will compete for twelve spots to join the U.S. Institute Against Human Trafficking on a trip to Washington D.C. where we will inundate the Capital with the call to end the demand for domestic sex trafficking.

What is The Abolitionist Project?

The Abolitionist Project is a six-month campaign where 50 advocates will engage in demand-decreasing activities to boost momentum toward the ultimate goal of ending the demand for sex trafficking in America. The 12 abolitionists with the most activity in their community will be awarded a professional development trip to Washington D.C. in February 2020.

How will I be making a difference?

You will help to end demand for sex trafficking, engage community leaders, build a grass-roots movement locally, educate your local community, affect your sphere of influence, and create long-lasting impact.

Best Candidates

If you feel passionate about seeing an end to sex trafficking and the trauma and violence happening to our most vulnerable men, women, and children, if you are motivated to engage your sphere of influence to get the word out, if you are willing to compel your community to take action, then YOU are the best candidate.
