Alleged victim found dead day before start of Lewiston sex trafficking trial

An alleged Lewiston, ME. victim of aggravated sex trafficking, who was scheduled to testify against her fiance at his trial starting Tuesday, was reported dead Monday morning. If convicted for this Class B felony, a crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Subsequently, the charge will be dismissed, Assistant District Attorney Nathan Walsh said.

Rashad Sabree, 37, of Boston pleaded guilty in July to two counts of sex trafficking. When Sabree discovered text messages for help, he began assaulting one of the victims.
