Business That Seeks to End Human Trafficking Housed in UW’s WTBC

Fort the past 13 years there was been 92-120 victims of human trafficking in Wyoming. The Alliance for Freedom, Restoration and Justice based out of Wyoming has been shinning a light on this industry. They have been working with the city of Laramie, Wyoming and the Attorney General’s Human Trafficking Taskforce to strengthen the efforts in the state. They want to understand how trafficking is happening in the state and how to prevent it. Sometimes you only hear about high-profile cases about human trafficking, but it can happen anywhere. January 11 is National Human Trafficking Awareness day in the United States. The AFRJ launched the Everyday Heroes Challenge on this day. The challenge is designed for everyday people to take a course to become heroes against human trafficking.
