BluMar Realty, Inc. Issues Proclamation Declaring Itself a TraffickingFree Zone™
BluMar Realty, Inc. joins forces with the U.S. Institute Against Human Trafficking to combat sex trafficking in Florida

TAMPA, Fla. June, 12, 2019 —BluMar Reality, Inc. issued a proclamation declaring the company a TraffickingFree Zone in collaboration with the U.S. Institute Against Human Trafficking (USIAHT) today.

BluMar Reality exists to help its customers with their new chapter of life as they provide services to help sell homes and to help home buyers in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida.

“We are thrilled to have BluMar Realty join us, and many other companies in the area, in committing to putting an end to human trafficking through implementing our TraffickingFree Zone program,” said Geoff Rogers, co-founder and CEO of the U.S. Institute Against Human Trafficking. “We are confident that their dedication to this fight will only increase the success we’re having with the TraffickingFree Zone’s impact.”

The TraffickingFree Zone program is an integrated approach to ending sex trafficking in a city or
community through multi-sector partnership involving law enforcement, government, businesses,
schools and community-based organizations.

“At BluMar Reality, we believe every person should be treated with the highest level of care and
service,” said Ana Smith, owner of BluMar Realty. “It is for this reason that we will not tolerate any form of human trafficking in the realty business, or in our community. We are grateful to partner with the U.S. Institute Against Human Trafficking as we work to end this atrocity together.”

“BluMar Realty is an incredible company that truly has its customers’ best interest in mind. It is because of this that they have eagerly committed to establishing a TraffickingFree Zone,” said Micah Washinski, Pinellas County TraffickingFree Zone program manager at the U.S. Institute Against Human Trafficking. “We look forward to working with them as we link arms to end human trafficking in Florida.”

County by county, the TraffickingFree Zone program focuses on arresting and prosecuting sex buyers instead of those who are being sold, educating community members on sex trafficking and
implementing numerous other demand-reduction techniques.

Florida consistently ranks third in the nation for the number of calls made to the National Human
Trafficking Hotline. TraffickingFree Zones have already been implemented across Florida in Pasco
County, Pinellas County and the Cities of Clearwater, New Port Richey, Dade City and Temple Terrace.
